What areas of Brisbane do you service?

We service vehicles parked in safe, accessible off-highway locations across a defined operational service area covering Greater Brisbane, including the South-West Ipswich-to-Oxley corridor. Requests outside this area may be accepted subject to fleet availability.

Is this a conventional roadside or towing service?

Accepted Answer

No. Brisbane EV Recharge is a Premium EV Concierge specialising in mobile energy delivery at safe, accessible off-highway locations. We are not a towing operator, mechanical repair workshop or general breakdown service.

What are your operating hours?

Accepted Answer

Monday–Friday: scheduled concierge bookings 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with 60-minute appointments starting at 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Urban EV Energy Assistance 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with limited support from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM subject to availability and existing eligibility requirements. Saturday: Urban EV Energy Assistance only, on demand 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no standard concierge appointments or fixed Saturday appointment slots. Sunday: closed for all services. All times are Brisbane local time (Australia/Brisbane).

Can you access apartment basements?

Yes. We specialise in servicing EV owners in residential apartments, enclosed car parks and underground facilities. Our mobile charging rigs require a minimum vehicle clearance height of 2.2 metres.

Do I need permission from my building manager for basement or visitor bay charging?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please ensure your building management or body corporate permits short-stay mobile vehicle servicing in visitor bays or within your private allocated parking space prior to booking. Our technicians require safe, authorized clearance to access the area and perform the service.

Do I need to be present during charging?

Accepted Answer

No. You do not need to wait by your car, provided it is parked in an accessible location, entry permissions or port access are arranged, and you remain contactable via phone during your service window.

Are you insured to charge my car while I am not present?

Accepted Answer

Yes, fully. Brisbane EV Recharge carries comprehensive commercial cover designed specifically for unattended EV servicing. While your vehicle is connected to our charging equipment without you present, it is covered under our dedicated Care, Custody & Control insurance (up to $250,000 per vehicle) alongside full Public & Products Liability protection.

How do you open my charging port?

When our technician arrives on site, you simply pop or unlock your vehicle's charging port remotely using your manufacturer's mobile app (e.g., Tesla App, BYD App). We never force charging doors open, override manufacturer security systems, or physically drive or relocate customer vehicles.

Do you provide mobile EV car care in Brisbane?

Yes. Brisbane EV Recharge provides practical mobile EV Care alongside mobile charging while your vehicle is parked. Depending on the service or membership, this can include a windscreen and mirror clean, front mat vacuum where safe and access permits, washer fluid, tyre pressure checks, visible tyre-condition observations and ongoing tyre treatment for eligible members.

Do you provide EV detailing in Brisbane?

Brisbane EV Recharge provides practical mobile EV Care alongside charging rather than conventional full-service vehicle detailing. EV Care is completed while your EV is parked and focuses on the inclusions available with your selected service or eligible membership.

Where do you provide mobile EV Care?

We provide mobile EV Care alongside charging at suitable, accessible parked-vehicle locations across Greater Brisbane, including homes, workplaces, apartment buildings and other safe off-highway locations, subject to our operating area and site accessibility.

How much energy do I get?

Accepted Answer

Our subscription tiers provide a dedicated monthly energy pool: Executive Flow & Silver Fleet receive 60 kWh/month, while Gold Fleet receives 120 kWh/month. During each standard 45-minute service visit, our mobile unit delivers a rapid ~15 kWh energy drop — adding approximately 70–100 km of driving range depending on your vehicle's efficiency.

Why do you only charge to 80%?

Accepted Answer

To protect long-term battery condition and overall service efficiency, charging sessions are capped at 80% State of Charge (SoC). Charging speeds slow significantly beyond 80% as your vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) throttles intake to protect battery longevity. Capping sessions at 80% ensures rapid turnaround times and maximum availability for all members.

Who is eligible for Urban EV Energy Assistance?

Accepted Answer

Urban EV Energy Assistance dispatches (after-hours and weekends) are strictly reserved for vehicles with a battery State of Charge (SoC) below 10%, or vehicles in immediate stranded conditions. If a vehicle requested under Urban EV Energy Assistance is found upon technician arrival to have an SoC of 10% or greater, an Ineligible Call-Out Fee ($55.00) may apply or the session may be rescheduled.

How do you get access to my building?

Accepted Answer

You arrange normal visitor entry — the same way you welcome any trusted service professional. Typical access methods include a swipe card, building fob, intercom buzz-in, or a quick meeting at the barrier. We follow your building's security protocols and never bypass secure access systems.

Are parking fees included?

Accepted Answer

No. Third-party parking charges, toll tickets, or visitor parking levies are not included. Customers are responsible for ensuring: the space is accessible; permissions are arranged; and any parking entrance costs are pre-paid or covered.

What happens if I am running late?

Accepted Answer

We provide a 15-minute grace period from our arrival time at the entry gate. If physical access cannot be provided within 15 minutes due to an absent swipe-in or locked gate: Executive Flow / Subscription Pools — one (1) full dispatch allocation will be deducted from your monthly tier balance. Urban Commuter / Ad-Hoc Clients — the session will be cancelled and the upfront call-out fee ($199.00 incl. GST) remains non-refundable.
